An earthy and green combination of palm, cyclamen, sweet fig, moss, and clove set in a base of woody sandalwood. The edge of the earth meets the sea, in this sensual and full-bodied blend.

The fig symbolizes the continuous flow of time and offers a wish for long life. In legend, it was the Greek goddess Demeter who first revealed these "fruits of autumn" to mortals. Cultivated for more than 6,000 years, fig trees have a tremendous longevity, some bearing fruit for up to one-hundred years. References to the fig appear throughout the bible, from the Garden of Eden to the parables of Jesus, making it the most mentioned fruit in the Bible. Figs were also the favorite fruit of Cleopatra, and in Athens every inhabitant was known as a "philosykos," which, literally translated, means "a friend of the fig." Although considered a fruit, the fig is actually a flower inverted into itself. Native to areas from Asiatic Turkey to northern India, figs have spread to every Mediterranean country.
